Sharetribe offers four different pricing plans. The Build plan costs $29 per month and includes a fully-featured no-code marketplace builder and developer platform. The Lite plan costs $99 per month (billed yearly) and includes everything in Build, plus a live marketplace domain, outgoing email address, and 50 free transactions per month. The Pro plan costs $199 per month (billed yearly) and includes everything in Lite, plus a custom domain, custom outgoing email address, integrations with Zapier, third-party integrations, and 250 free transactions per month. The Extend plan costs $299 per month (billed yearly) and includes everything in Pro, plus the ability to customize live marketplace code, API access to the live marketplace, mobile app development, and 500 free transactions per month. Additional transactions cost $0.19 or less per initiated transaction. All prices are in USD (U.S. Dollar) and do not include VAT. If you're an individual in the EU or a company in Finland, the VAT of your country will be added to the price. In other cases, paying VAT is not necessary.

Sharetribe does not issue refunds by default. However, if a user believes they have a good reason for a refund, they can contact the Sharetribe team for a review. When a subscription is cancelled, the Live marketplace remains open until the end of the ongoing billing period.

In terms of transactions, if something goes wrong, users can either raise a dispute or reach out to the marketplace administrator to request a cancellation and a refund. Only marketplace operators can cancel a transaction and initiate a refund, and this can only be done before a transaction has been marked as completed.

Regarding shipping, Sharetribe offers two delivery methods: Pickup and Shipping. Providers can choose either or both of these delivery options when selling their listings. If shipping is chosen, the provider can define a fixed shipping fee for the item. The shipping address is entered by the customer at checkout. Sharetribe does not support issuing partial refunds out of the box, but it can be implemented with code customization by modifying the transaction process. Sharetribe does not have a built-in way of printing shipping labels. Implementing this capability would require code customization and potentially building an integration to a dedicated 3rd party shipping software.

Sharetribe.com leverages Stripe for payments and offers multiple ways for customers to pay for transactions. The supported payment methods are divided into two categories - pull and push payment methods.

Pull payment methods include card payments and similar methods such as Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Microsoft Pay.

Push payment methods include Alipay, Bancontact, EPS, giropay, iDEAL, and Przelewy24.

Sharetribe supports payment methods that have immediate payment confirmation and that are supported by Stripe's PaymentIntents API. These payment methods fall under either Cards, Bank redirects, or Wallets in Stripe's classification.

For card payments, the payment flow starts with a preauthorization. The money is reserved but not yet charged from the customer's credit card. After a charge, Stripe moves money to the provider's Connect Account Balance in Stripe and holds it there until a payout is issued. The preauthorization is valid for seven days, after which Stripe automatically releases it.

For push payments, there is no preauthorization. Once the customer confirms the payment, it gets captured automatically and a charge is made immediately.

Please note that Sharetribe does not support payment methods that require the use of Stripe's older Sources API.
